As part of the series of educational activities for high school students, the State Election Commission held a workshop with students from “Kocho Racin” secondary school in Veles, with the support of the Electoral Support Programme.
The activity focused on the electoral process and the role of young people in democracy. Through a dynamic “knowledge competition,” students had the opportunity to test and expand their knowledge of voting rights, while also sharing their views and interest in participating in elections.
During the workshop, participants discussed the importance of every vote, the responsibility associated with voting, and the different ways in which young people can actively engage in the electoral process.
Representatives of the State Election Commission’s Continuous Training Sector, Legal Affairs Sector and Voter List Sector participated in the activity. The workshop contributed to bringing electoral processes closer to young people and encouraging their informed and active participation in democratic processes.
