As part of the series of educational activities for high school students, the State Election Commission held a workshop with students from the “8 Shtatori” secondary school in Tetovo, with the support of the Electoral Support Programme.
The workshop focused on young people’s participation in elections and the importance of the youth vote for the country’s democratic development. Through an interactive “knowledge competition,” students were divided into two groups and shared their knowledge, interests and views on voting rights and the electoral process.
Particular emphasis was placed on the right to vote and the responsibility of each voter, as well as the different roles through which young people can participate in the electoral process.
Representatives of the State Election Commission’s Continuous Training Sector, Legal Affairs Sector and Voter List Sector took part in the activity. The workshop contributed to strengthening young people’s knowledge and engagement in electoral and democratic processes.
