On 17 April 2026, the Continuous Training Sector of the State Election Commission held an educational workshop with students from the “Nace Bugjoni” secondary school in Kumanovo. The activity marked the beginning of a series of training sessions for high school students implemented from 17 to 30 April 2026 with the support of the Electoral Support Programme.
The workshop aimed to provide young people with basic knowledge of the electoral process, voting rights and youth participation in elections.
Through interactive activities, students discussed issues relevant to them as young and future voters, with particular emphasis on exercising their right to vote for the first time in an informed and unhindered manner.
The educational workshops contributed to preparing young people for active participation in electoral processes, making informed decisions and developing a better understanding of their rights and responsibilities as voters.
