In the Budget of the Municipality of Vevchani for 2026, funds are envisaged for the implementation of the public lighting measure. The funds are clearly allocated in accordance with the title and description of the measure in the Programme. Allocated are MKD 3,950,000: Programme J30 – Public Lighting, MKD 1,700,000 for maintenance, and Programme JA0 – Construction of Public Lighting, MKD 2,250,000 for construction.

The Municipality actively participated in the debate and working meetings, providing information and documentation related to the measure.

The public debate was held on 19.06.2026 in Vevchani. A total of 20 participants attended, of whom 10 were female and 10 were male. There were 6 young participants and 14 participants over 30 years of age.
Representatives of the Municipality of Vevchani, citizens, representatives of civil society organizations, and other stakeholders participated in both events. The topic of the debate was the implementation of the public lighting measure, transparency, information exchange, and the participation of stakeholders.
The debate resulted in conclusions regarding the need for better public information, continuous cooperation with the Municipality, and regular monitoring of the implementation of the measure.
