Debar ON, electronic citizen participation

This initiative will monitor the electoral promise for “Increased citizen participation in service delivery, as well as increased transparency, responsibility and accountability of the municipality and municipal enterprises by using digital technology”. Community mobilization activities will include: design and promotion of a telephone application that enables municipal residents and affected local communities to participate; sharing the results with local officials and utility enterprises and advocating for improved digitalization of communal services.

The subject matter of the local monitoring is the use of digital technology in the municipality in order to enhance its transparency and efficiency.
