Levica and IFES will jointly organize a two-day workshop for members of the political party Levica entitled “Smart Opposition: Mobilization, Building Alternatives and Impactful Local Action”, in Skopje on June 18 and 19. At the workshop, participants will discuss contemporary challenges and opportunities for political organizing, the role of constructive opposition, mobilization of membership and strengthening ties with citizens.

Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, participants will work on improving communication with different societal groups, developing local initiatives, dealing with disinformation, preparing evidence-based policies and effectively advocating for political proposals. Additionally, topics related to negotiation, alliance building and strategic planning to achieve concrete political results will be covered.
