The Research and Analytical Center of SDSM and IFES successfully concluded a series of capacity-development activities aimed at strengthening the party’s analytical, organizational, and strategic capacities. Throughout the previous week, participants took part in a combination of training sessions, consultations, and practical exchanges focused on modernization of internal party processes through the practical use of digital and AI-supported tools. This initiative, facilitated by an international consultant, aimed to introduce practical approaches and tools that can support the daily work of political party staff working in research, analytics, policy development, and communications. The focus was on concrete, accessible applications that can improve efficiency, support evidence-based decision-making, strengthen communication workflows, and reduce repetitive administrative tasks.
This engagement is part of the Swiss Electoral Support Programme ongoing efforts to support the development of research and analytical capacities of political parties and to contribute to more informed, citizen-oriented, and responsive political processes.
