Last weekend in Strumica, the Research and Analytical Center of VMRO-DPMNE and IFES jointly organized a workshop for members of the party’s youth wing, titled “From Ideas to Public Policy: Developing the Next Generation of Political Leaders”.
During the three-day interactive workshop, the young politicians had the opportunity to learn and exchange experiences regarding the organizational functioning of a political party, the creation of evidence-based public policies, public speaking and political communication, as well as the development of leadership skills.
The program combined interactive sessions, practical exercises, and discussions with more experienced politicians. The goal was to enable participants to connect the knowledge they acquired with real-world challenges, and to contribute to building more informed, responsible, and citizen-oriented political processes.
This activity is part of the ongoing efforts of the the Swiss Electoral Support Programme, aimed at strengthening the capacity of political parties to develop evidence-based policies.
