Support for a more inclusive and secure political environment

Events, Political Parties

Last week, we held a series of workshops with several political parties, aimed at strengthening the capacities of parties to prevent and address violence against women in politics and in the electoral process.

Through discussion and exchange of experiences and ideas, the participants worked on a better understanding of this phenomenon, improving internal mechanisms in parties for support and protection, as well as opportunities to strengthen cooperation between parties for more effective action.

Violence against women in politics is not a personal problem of an individual woman, but a social challenge that affects democratic processes and the quality of public life. Therefore, regardless of the size or political power of the party, the responsibility for preventing and appropriately dealing with cases of violence against women in politics is a shared obligation of all political actors.

Together, we strive to build a political culture free of violence and with equal opportunities for all.
