The Acountability As a Characteristic of the Good Governance on Local Level

This initiative will monitor the election promise of the mayor for the construction of a water supply system in the town of Ajievci. It is a long-standing problem faced by the inhabitants of the village who do not have drinking water and they expect this promise to solve the problem of water supply in the village. The promise is part of the municipality’s program for 2022 and 2023, but it also has the support of the central government, which has already started implementing certain activities to secure the 400,000 euros needed for the implementation of the same. The obtained results of the monitoring will be disseminated to the public through: field activities to inform and activate the local population, public debate with the presentation of research results, dissemination of promotional and informative material.
