Energy Efficent Municipality

This initiative will monitor the election promise to replace the previously existing street lighting with more economical LED lighting, which should contribute to the energy efficiency of the municipality of Demir Hisar. This is of particular importance in a period of economic and energy crisis. The benefits of the realization of this promise will be for the entire local population, but also for the citizens who use the Bitola-Kicevo regional road every day. In this way, much greater visibility and safety of the streets “Bitolska” which is the main street and “1st May” which is the longest and most frequented street would be possible, especially due to the fact that local shops and small businesses are located on it. The obtained results of the monitoring will be disseminated to the public through: Social media campaign (infographics); distribution of information flyers; Public event.
