Green Map for Green Community

This initiative will monitor the degree of implementation of the municipal Program for environmental protection, including the development of new green areas, waste management, and construction of cycling paths. Community mobilization activities will include: design of a digital application for mapping and naming the trees in Veles and new locations to plant trees; three public events with local and national authorities and stakeholders, NGOs, and citizens; design of a website to promote the monitoring results; organization of an award contest for young people and similar.

The subject matter of the local monitoring refers to stipulated environment protection activities in the municipal program.
