This project has another category that is also important named Community Mobilizers.
The participants of this category were selected from an published open call, where every citizen had the chance to apply and be part of it.
The idea of investing in this field is to get closer to the citizens and to teach them how to make the political parties accountable for the given promises.
The training and learning process was divided in three parts – Modules, where the first and getting to know module was held in February where 16 participants from different regions were selected.
During this module they had the chance to be introduced to the terms mobilization and their role from now on.
The transfer from physically organizing the trainings to virtual meet in the second module was not an easy process, but there was no option left when is in question our health. Beside the challenges they demonstrated responsivity in adaptation with this new way of functioning and obtaining knowledge.
Covid – 19 and the way the technical government managed was an exercise and a way of shaping the community mobilizers how they should mobilize and monitor the work of the government in the future.
The third module took part in September, when the government was formed and the draft program was published.
The ideas and directions which is their area of monitoring was clear for each of our Community Mobilizer.
Together with the monitoring duty in the next 5 months, they will need to develop a plan on how they will make the government accountable for the written promises in their program through their innovative initiatives.
Let’s see how creative our CM will be in the upcoming period.
