On January 30 and 31, 2023 coordinative meetings were held with representatives of the grantee organizations that implement monitoring of election promises across 19 municipalities within the framework of the Project for Support of Electoral Reforms in the Republic of North Macedonia. At the meetings, 60 local mobilizers and representatives of the project teams pointed out that:
- Direct contact and meetings with municipal employees and Mayors is an effective measure for obtaining the necessary information;
- An open and clear approach to the municipality and local institutions is needed in order to obtain the necessary data;
- In the process of monitoring, the combination of different approaches and methods for collecting the necessary data bears fruit.
