Organized by “Youth Can”, we invite you to a public debate on the topic: To what degree is the law on youth participation and youth policies in the focus of the new mayors of the municipalities in the city of Skopje and the city of Skopje?

The speakers at the event will be the new mayors of the municipalities on the territory of the city of Skopje.

You could get answers to questions like: Law on Youth Participation and Youth Policies: What has been done so far? What are the plans of the new mayors on this issue? Are local youth councils formed? How involved are young people in the decision-making process? Is there cooperation between the youth and the local government?

The town hall discussion is part of the “Support to Electoral Reforms” project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), implemented by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) in partnership with the National Youth Council of Macedonia (NYCM).

For the participants who come from other cities, their travel expenses will be covered if they keep them properly and bring the proof of transportation to us.
