The Association of Journalists of Macedonia (AJM) and the International Foundation for Electoral System (IFES) are organizing a roundtable dedicated to the Strengthening of the Journalistic Integrity and Accountability: Post-Election Media Actions and the Importance of Training Academies for Media Workers, to be held on 30 October 2024 starting at 12:00 h in the premises of the Agency of Audio and Audiovisual Media Services, Skopje.

The event aims to provide a platform for investigative journalists to share experiences on tracking party election promises and monitoring post-election outcomes, while acknowledging it as a crucial tool for promoting accountability and transparency in governance. The second part of the event will foster discussion around the Training Academy of the Association of Journalists of Macedonia as a driving force for building the capacity of media workers, ensuring integrity and accountability thereby strengthening journalistic standards, fostering ethical reporting, and enhancing public trust in the media as a pillar of democratic society.
