The main objective of the Hackathon is to bring together rural youth from different political parties to jointly address the pressing environmental and agricultural challenges in their municipalities. With the guidance and expertise of experts and consultants, participants will deepen their understanding of the impact of climate change and the specific issues rural communities face as a result. Working collaboratively, they will draft a Joint Declaration, which will serve as a platform to secure commitment from their political parties to integrate environmental protection and sustainable rural development into their programs for the local elections in 2025.
