Right to transportation for Shuto Orizari

The Municipality of Shuto Orizari faces ongoing challenges with an unreliable and poorly connected public transportation system. Irregular routes, long waits, and overcrowded vehicles limit residents’ access to education, jobs, healthcare, and other services. Women, students, elderly, and low-income families are most affected.

Despite community awareness, no comprehensive assessment or sustainable solutions have been developed. This initiative will conduct surveys, interviews, and consultations with residents, the municipality, and transport providers to identify barriers and needs. It will also include a financial feasibility study and a public awareness campaign to encourage citizen engagement.

Expected outcomes are clearer institutional understanding, actionable recommendations, and stronger collaboration toward equitable and improved urban mobility.
