Excerpt from the Government Program:In order to overcome the existing problems identified in The report of the OSCE / ODIHR, Election Observation Mission of the Republic of North Macedonia on the early parliamentary elections in July 2020, will be take into account the recommendations in the said Report when preparing amendments to the law.

Monitoring ends with adopted amendments to the Electoral Code.The Parliament adopted the amendments to the Electoral Code, which cover parts of the OSCE-ODHIR report, and which enable greater efficiency of the electoral bodies, increase and improve the efficiency and transparency of the electoral process, and improve and introduce new electoral activities and deadlines primarily related to the experience and practice in the conduct of elections by the State Election Commission, but also arising from the introduction of a new way of voter identification.

It is necessary to revise the Electoral Code in order to properly include the OSCE / ODIHR recommendations that have been given before. 8 OSCE / ODIHR recommendations have not been adopted.

The recommendation for biometric identification of voters has been followed accordingly. Although, there are isolated cases where due to malfunction of the devices, voting in the local elections continued with the use of spray and UV lamp.

The Program for 2022 of the Commission for Gender Equality in Sports at the MOC has been promoted. MOC trainings on gender equality in sports and awards events for women athletes.

Although it was announced that 7 of the planned 10 services are in the final stage, they are not open. Ongoing activities of civil society organizations and municipalities for prevention and prevention of gender-based violence and education on services for women victims of violence.

The pandemic has had a very negative impact on the position of women, especially the measures that were taken such as closing of schools and kindergartens, changing working hours, working from home. Active Commission for Gender Equality within the Government of RNM. Excerpt from the Government Program:We will propose a law that will establish a communal police at the local level, which will enable the current communal inspectors and Eco Patrols to jointly take measures for the perpetrators of harmful activities: disposal of waste in places not provided for it: creation of illegal landfills from construction and mixed municipal waste, burning of tires and other highly harmful substances, burning and destruction of containers, etc. with mandatory fines. There is no information regarding an increase of number of environmental inspectors in the year of 2021. A total of 21 inspectors (18 state environmental inspectors, 2 water economy inspectors and 1 state inspector for nature protection); 2020: A total of 19 inspectors (16 state environmental inspectors, 2 water economy inspectors and 1 state inspector for nature protection); and 2019: A total of 20 inspectors (17 state inspectors for environment, 2 water economy inspectors and 1 state inspector for nature protection);

Excerpt from the Government Program:1) In the first year of the mandate, the Government will offer structural reform of the crisis management systems and protection and rescue through reorganization, equipping and training of rapid response operational teams. These segments are the foundation in building a society resistant to crises and disasters. The same were proved to be beneficial during the crisis and emergency caused by the coronavirus pandemic. In the first half of the mandate we will realize the call system “”112″” 2) The reconstruction of the building of the Crisis Management Center in Kumanovo will enable the establishment of a Training Center. This creates conditions for organized planning and implementation of trainings, exercises and other activities that will increase the coordination, efficiency and timely response of the participants in the Crisis Management System (Article 29 paragraph 2 of the Law on Crisis Management) . The reconstruction of the building will also allow a part of it to be adapted for 24/7 work on the regional department of the CMC in Kumanovo, which is permanently solved with work space, as well as adaptation of a part of the building for the needs of the E-112 system provided for the subject area.
