Excerpt from the Government Program:• A system of mandatory financing of the monuments from the List of monuments of national interest will be introduced, according to the principle of category by value and degree of endangerment. There is no system of mandatory financing of the monuments occupying the list of monuments of national interest. In the national system for protection of the cultural heritage, according to articles 32 and 43 of the Law on protection of the cultural heritage, a specific monument-legal institute is established - Declaration of cultural heritage in danger.

As of September, a decision has been made to declare cultural heritage in danger. In the application of this monumental-legal institute, no special decision is made with a declarative character for termination of the status - cultural heritage in danger.

In an existing feasibility study, innovation hubs had been planned to be opened on the premises of the Faculty of Tourism in Ohrid, but that decision has been kept in the drawer for three years. The new Mayor of Ohrid, Dr. Kiril Pecakov, announced that business incubators will open in Ohrid within the new youth center, which is expected to open soon.

A public call regarding grants for schools that contribute to multiculturalism is issued by the Ministry of Education and Science. 154 primary and secondary schools applied for the grant

Excerpt from the Government Program:Draft-decision for giving consent to the Program for construction of new facilities and for reconstruction, rehabilitation and adaptation of the existing facilities used by the national institutions in the field of culture for 2021 1) In order to overcome the weaknesses from the first phase of decentralization we will increase the block grants to cover all the real needs of the local institution. The funds will be used for current and material maintenance of the institutions, for new investments, in order to improve the condition of the facilities of the local institutions in culture and their functionality

Excerpt from the Government Program:Cultural heritage will play a key role in our policies. It enhances the sense of belonging, of sharing common values and traditions. We represent the European idea that cultural heritage is a common resource, which raises awareness of our common history, which unites us as citizens, but also legitimizes us before the European family of states, actively contributing to the overall European identity. The information on the realization of the Project “”Conservation and restoration works of the Aqueduct in Skopje””, the Government will be informed about the current activities aimed at appropriate treatment in the field of protection of the Aqueduct in Skopje.

There are 4 stages for conducting the restoration. On September 15, 2021, the Ministry of Culture held a press conference announcing that the conservation works on the Skopje aqueduct are being commenced. In parallel with the conservation, there will be a management plan that will go in parallel with the conservation that has already been initiated.

The federations that receive funds from the state budget must ensure the functioning of male and female sports, that is, male and female sports clubs and / or national teams. Information on the project proposal “”Gender Equality in Sport”” Explanation: We are introducing gender equality in sports – 30% of women in governing bodies (parliament, board, EB) commencing from 2020, and 50% by 2024. Federations that receive funding from the state budget must ensure the functioning of males and female sports , that is, male and female sports clubs and / or national teams. Expected impacts: Equal representation of women in sports in all organs of management, financing of projects of the national sports federations to support the participation of women in sports, both in the training process, recreational activities, and in the direction of her increased participation as a coach, referee or as a creator of the work of bodies in clubs, federations and national associations
