This module will focus on strengthening the capacity of youth political party representatives to promote meaningful youth participation, representation, and leadership within their parties and the broader democratic process. Through a combination of conceptual discussions, personal testimonies from senior party representatives, and analysis of local and regional case studies, participants will explore both formal and informal pathways of political influence and identify barriers that often limit youth engagement. The module will also support participants in developing practical skills in advocacy, communication, and negotiation to advance youth representation within party decision-making structures. At the same time, it will promote reflection on democratic values such as pluralism, inclusion, dialogue, and respect for diversity across political parties. By the end of the module, participants will be encouraged to translate these insights into practical initiatives that strengthen youth engagement in their parties and communities and contribute to a more inclusive and participatory democratic culture.
