13 political parties signed the Code of Conduct – Combating violence against women in politics and in the electoral process, presented at the panel discussion organized in cooperation with the Macedonian Women’s Lobby.
The participants of the panel discussion addressed the concerns related to violence against women in politics and electoral processes, while considering the best approaches for the implementation of the Code in order to contribute to a safe and fair political environment, which is a way to guarantee space for political participation of women in politics without any form of violence, as a basis for inclusive policy making.
The event was realized within the framework of the Electoral Support Program, financed by the Government of Switzerland, and implemented by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
