Research and Analytical Centers, Events, Political Parties, Workshops and trainings

During the past week, IFES, in cooperation with the research and analytical centers of the political parties, organized a series of workshops on the Code of Conduct for combating violence against women in politics and in the electoral process: developing actionable-based recommendations. The workshops resulted in specific activities and measures that will be implemented on the ground by November 2024.
Together, we continue with the efforts against violence against women in politics and in the electoral processes!
The workshops were held in the direction of identifying potential actionable-based recommendations, with the aim of defining several key activities related to the implementation of the measures from the Code, as a basis for action in anticipation of the upcoming local elections scheduled to be held in 2025.
The activity was realized within the framework of the Election Support Programme, financed by the Government of Switzerland, and implemented by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
