In anticipation of the 2025 local elections, we successfully held the international conference \u201cInformed Voters: Strategies for Effective Voter Education and Outreach\u201d, co-organized by the State Election Commission, the Swiss Electoral Support Programme in North Macedonia, implemented by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), and ODIHR through the project \u201cSupport to Electoral Reforms in the Western Balkans\u201d.<\/p>\n
The conference aimed to foster dialogue on key aspects of voter information and education, bringing together all relevant stakeholders from the country, as well as to provide an overview of the ODIHR\u2019s key election recommendations. We included experts from the country, the region and Europe who shared their perspectives, experiences and innovative approaches.<\/p>\n
